Naguib Shahid is an investment banker with over a quarter of a century of experience in the financial industry. Before founding Highbury Partners, Naguib founded the Investment Banking unit at CoreCap Investments.

 

At CoreCap, he focused on middle-market private company transactions, buy and sell side advisory, capital raise, corporate finance, private equity, and alternative financing solutions. 

 

As a Resident Director for the Private Banking and Investment Group, Merrill's Wealth Management division. Naguib opened and led the division's eighth hub location in the country and managed all aspects of the business, including strategic and tactical initiatives, investment strategy, and advisor recruitment. 

 

Naguib also covered Merrill's Ultra High Net Worth Segment of the business in the Mid-East Region. 

 

Naguib is an accomplished athlete. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, golf and running.
